Cleveland, Ohio – 8.28.2023 – We are proud to announce that Haus of Transcendent (HOT) has been granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This designation marks a significant milestone in our journey and underscores our mission to create an accessible, vibrant, and healthy community for ALL.
By achieving 501(c)(3) status, HOT is now officially recognized as a public charity, allowing us to further our mission. This designation makes all donations to HOT tax-deductible. This development will facilitate the growth and expansion of our programs, providing a strong foundation from which we will launch initiatives aimed at supporting LGBTQ2S+ adults in Northeast Ohio.
HOT’s founder, Jordi Luke, expressed their elation at this pivotal development, stating, “Receiving the 501(c)(3) status is not just a recognition of our efforts, but also a beacon of hope for LGBTQ2S+ adults who are disproportionately impacted by the social determinants of health. We are excited to establish programs and advocate for policies that address basic needs, promote sustainability, and support LGBTQ2S+ people in Northeast Ohio.”
As we move forward with renewed vigor, we invite our community, partners, and well-wishers to join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement. Through our collective efforts, we will create a colorful tapestry of transcendent stories filled with joy, affirmation, and prosperity.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us in reaching this milestone. It is through your continued encouragement and generosity that we are able to embark on this exciting next step, bringing our dream of a brighter, more inclusive future one step closer to fruition.
We invite you to stay tuned for upcoming announcements on LinkedIn and Instagram as we roll out our plans, fueled with the spirit of service, compassion, and collective power that defines HOT.
