RuPaul’s Drag Race Mexico Star Vermelha Noir Joins Cleveland’s HOTTOWEEN Fundraiser to Support Transitional Housing for LGBTQI2S+ Community

Cleveland, OH — Haus of Transcendent (HOT) is thrilled to announce that Vermelha Noir, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race Mexico, will be headlining HOTTOWEEN, an exciting fundraiser supporting HOT Hausing, a transformational initiative providing transitional housing for LGBTQI2S+ individuals at risk of homelessness. The event will take place on Friday, November 10, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Muze Studio West, 1384 Hird Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. Tickets for HOTTOWEEN can be purchased at HOTCLE.org/hottoween.

HOTTOWEEN will be hosted by the captivating Dakota Cox, known as the Black Amazonian Goddess, along with HOT Ambassadors Agata Why and Thee Deja Snow. DJ Roro will bring vibrant energy to the night, spinning tracks that will keep the crowd dancing and the atmosphere lively.

Prior to the main event, a Health Literacy Workshop will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kitchen Demo Studio West. The workshop will have free food, drinks, and mocktails. Facilitated by Cederick Taylor and Dr. Henry Ng, the workshop will provide vital information to support the health and wellness of Cleveland’s LGBTQI2S+ community. This educational session aligns with HOT’s commitment to improving health outcomes and awareness for LGBTQI2S+ people.

The evening promises unforgettable performances by a stellar lineup of celebrated artists, including:

Vermelha Noir of RuPaul’s Drag Race Mexico, bringing international flair to the stage with her iconic performance.

Bella Sin, ranked as the 19th Best Burlesque Performer in the World, adding a dazzling and dynamic act to the festivities.

Onya Nurve, crowned Miss Addicted to Glamour 2024, known for her captivating and high-energy performances.

SlayIcon Wamego, HOT’s very own ArtReach Director and renowned femme fatale drag performer from Puerto Rico and the Patawaoni tribe.

Attendees can look forward to a night filled with entertainment, community, and a shared mission to support inclusive housing.

Highlights of the evening will include:

⁃ A $300 HOT Fashion Prize for the best-dressed attendee.
⁃ A Telfar purse raffle, giving guests the chance to take home an iconic fashion accessory.
⁃ Wellness checks provided by Central Outreach, ensuring attendees have access to vital health information.
⁃ Opportunities to register for colorectal cancer screenings provided by Cleveland Clinic, supporting preventive health for our community.

In addition to the evening’s festivities, Haus of Transcendent will make a major announcement about a significant grant recently awarded to HOT Hausing. This funding will be pivotal in advancing our mission to create supportive and transformative housing for LGBTQI2S+ individuals in need.
