Haus of Transcendent (HOT) is thrilled to announce that ArtReach Fellow Onya Nurve will compete in the 17th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, premiering January 3, 2025, on MTV. From Cleveland, Onya has been a catalytic force in our community, blending artistry and advocacy that elevates the voices and needs of LGBTQI2S+ people.

Recognized for her dedication to both her craft and community, Onya was selected as HOT’s 2024 ArtReach Fellow. In this role, she has played an essential part in advancing HOT’s mission to build affordable Hausing for LGBTQI+ individuals in Cleveland, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

Her debut on RuPaul’s Drag Race not only celebrates her exceptional talent but also brings national attention to the issues and causes HOT is committed to addressing. This achievement reflects the tremendous talent that exist among LGBTQI2S+ people in Northeast Ohio.
