FREE Courses for Providers
Haus of Transcendent and the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland have partnered to deliver two free courses designed for medical and social service providers.
Each course empowers learners to examine the evidence, apply practical strategies to everyday interactions, and consider how programs, workflows, environments, and resources can be designed to better meet a wide range of needs.
This project is possible thanks to funding provided by the Cleveland Foundation.
Course A
Strengthening Communication & Language Access for All
This course focuses on improving care and services for LGBTQI2S+ people with limited English proficiency.
Designed for medical and social service providers, the course explores communication and language access, including how each can affect safety, quality, autonomy, equity, and participation.
Course B
Building an Accessible, Inclusive, and Healthy Community for All
This course focuses on improving care and services for LGBTQI2S+ people with disabilities.
The course explores accessibility and universal design, including how each can affect safety, quality, autonomy, equity, and participation.
