En el coraz\u00f3n del trabajo de Haus of Transcendent (HOT) reside una convicci\u00f3n simple pero contundente: la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y los servicios sociales deben estar al servicio de las personas en su situaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, ling\u00fc\u00edstica y cultural. Guiada por este principio, HOT conecta a las personas LGBTQI2S+ con el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n de salud f\u00edsica y conductual, as\u00ed como a otros recursos sociales esenciales, a trav\u00e9s de su reci\u00e9n inaugurada figura de trabajador de salud comunitario (TSC).<\/p>\n\n

Como parte fundamental de su programa hol\u00edstico de gesti\u00f3n de casos, el TSC desempe\u00f1a un papel crucial en la identificaci\u00f3n y el abordaje de los factores sociales que influyen en la salud y cuenta con el apoyo de una subvenci\u00f3n de TAF. Como agencia de coordinaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n del Better Health Pathways Hub, la labor del TSC de HOT ampl\u00eda su impacto, fortalece la coordinaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n y reduce el da\u00f1o a las personas LGBTQI2S+ y sus aliados a quienes sirve la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En 2025, el personal y los voluntarios de HOT se centraron en la difusi\u00f3n en bares y clubes de Cleveland y Lakewood, distribuyendo con \u00e9xito 750 kits de prueba de VIH para el hogar. Liderando esta iniciativa est\u00e1 SlayIcon Wamego, artista drag de Two Spirit y director de ArtReach, cuya presencia en estos espacios transforma una iniciativa de salud p\u00fablica en un referente cultural.<\/p>\n\n
